 | Martin Learns More about Injury Thursday, June 9th , 1910 Lonnie Martin will have to wait a while longer. The Pittsburgh starting pitcher was informed this afternoon that he will miss another 10-11 months with a damaged elbow ligament. The injury has kept him off the field since 06/08/1910. Though Martin had hoped to return soon, he has no choice but to be patient. "Gotta stay focused," he said. "Gotta stay positive." This season, Martin has compiled a 2-2 mark with a 1.12 ERA in 4 starts. |   |
