| Cleveland No Match for Mead | Jack Mead was in a mood to talk following the Dallas Wranglers contest against the Cleveland Foresters, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Foresters, 4-0.
"There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Mead said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again."
The left-hander blanked Cleveland on a 3-hitter, allowing 1 walk and racking up 2 strikeouts.
Thus far this season, Mead has tossed 48.1 innings in 8 starts, fanned 24 batters, walked 14 and put up a 2.79 ERA with 2 wins and 2 losses. | |
