Arrows Reel Off Another Win
The Milwaukee Arrows extended their winning streak.

The Milwaukee Arrows got a strong performance from pitcher Mel Maddox. Double M stymied the Toronto offense en route to a solid, 9-1 win at Dominion Stadium. The loss makes Toronto 4-4.

The Arrows got a big hit from second baseman Paul Burkley. Facing Toronto pitcher Harry Street in the top of the sixth, Burkley pounded a 3-run home run to left-center. His 4th home run of the season put the Arrows ahead, 8-1.

"Mel -- I just love the competitor in him," said Arrows manager Randy Hendrix.
