The Minneapolis Millers snuck past the Los Angeles Suns, 5-4, in 11 innings. Minneapolis pitcher Ed Power, in particular, had a standout performance. The Millers win now puts them at 30-53.

Minneapolis got a knockout punch from Roy Gass. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
