The Toronto Wolves could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Stan Terry into a win. Instead, the Milwaukee Arrows prevailed, 5-4, in 11 innings. Terry threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball. The win gives Milwaukee a season record of 23-12.

Jay Dynes drove in one run for Milwaukee. With one out and the game tied in the top of the 11th inning, Dynes, who is tied for 5th in the CA in hits with 42, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Toronto hurler Dick Miller, he grounded out, driving in 1 run to give the Arrows a 5-4 lead.

"Baseball is such a beautiful game," said Dynes. "Anything can happen on any night, and that's why you don't dwell on what happened yesterday. Just look forward and trust you're going to have positive results."
