| Wolves Get 6-5 Win Versus Seattle | Toronto pinch hitter Chick Reed was instrumental in helping the Wolves triumph, 6-5, over the Seattle Kings. Reed went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Dick Miller wrapped it up, recording his 4th save. Toronto is now 16-17, while Seattle is 24-12.
Clyde Bradshaw came through with a big-time hit for Toronto. The shortstop smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"We scored enough runs to win," said Reed.
