Landrum Blasts Grays, Bulls Take Game 3, 5-2
Riding the 3-hit performance of shortstop Hal Landrum, the Houston Bulls stopped the visiting Oakland Grays, 5-2, in Game 3 of the Bigsby Cup Series today. Landrum went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bulls, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Johnny Bunce aided the Houston cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the third baseman was 1-2 with 2 walks.

"Things broke our way today and that's great," Bulls manager Jerry Wilcher said. "It's important, though, to stay focused and not pat yourself on the back too much. We aren't done yet."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Bulls Stadium in Houston.
