Bell Hits 2 home runs in Pioneers Win
Bob Bell impressed in the 10-6 St. Louis win over Pittsburgh. Bell, who is tied for 2nd in the FA in extra base hits with 38, was 3-4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Billy Hasson got the win, improving to 14-3. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 8 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 4. The Federal Association-leading Pioneers have a record of 55-27.
