The Dallas Wranglers beat the Chicago Cougars, 8-7, in 11 innings. Dallas third baseman Buck Stout, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 2-5 with a home run. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The winner was Jack Meeks in relief. His record improves to 9-8. Charlie Lawson took the loss. The winning streak has now reached 9 games for the Wranglers.

The Wranglers got a clutch hit from center fielder Tony McKittrick. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Wranglers.

"It's fun to come to the yard every day when you're winning," said Dallas manager Vic Kramer.
