| Boston Stopped, 5-1, by Baltimore | The Baltimore Clippers topped the Boston Minutemen, 5-1, in Federal Association action at Patapsco Field. The standout performance belonged to Baltimore pitcher and Great Falls, Montana, native Joe McDowell. The winning pitcher was McDowell, now 11-16. He tossed 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 3. Baltimore's record now stands at 79-83, placing them 4th in the Federal Association East.
Baltimore took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and a runner on 3rd, Ike Barnett hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Clippers.
