Boosted by the 4-hit performance of Nick Parker, who leads the CA with a 1.011 OPS, the Dallas Wranglers defeated the Chicago Cougars, 10-2. Dallas has now won 8 games in a row.

Tony McKittrick had a big 2-run double for the Wranglers in the bottom of the second inning. With Dallas trailing 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from Bob Goldman, who is tied for 4th in the CA in quality starts with 24, and swatted a double to center. It was his 32nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Wranglers ahead, 3-2.

"Swagger goes hand in hand with playing well," said Dallas manager Vic Kramer.
