| Baltimore Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win | Baltimore Clippers starter Jose Martinez pitched well against the Boston Minutemen at Patapsco Field, leading his team to a win, 5-4. Davey Cronin claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2 innings. His record stands at 8-7. The Clippers now have a record of 77-84 with the win over Boston.
Clay Roberts was the walk-off hero for Baltimore. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Clippers second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's great when the crowd is energized," Roberts said.
