The Dallas Wranglers captured an easy win, 13-0, over the Chicago Cougars at Norris Stadium. Nick Parker led the offensive barrage, going 3-for-5 for Dallas. The winning pitcher was Jack Mead. His record now stands at 12-11. The left-hander went 8.2 innings, allowing no runs on 6 hits for the Wranglers. The winning continues for Dallas, with the latest triumph making it 7 straight.

With Dallas leading 10-0 in the bottom of the eighth, Parker came up to bat against Chicago pitcher Bob McKinney. Parker hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 28th home run of the season put the Wranglers on top, 13-0.
