| With 6-4 Win, Dynamics Improve to 51-42 | Kobe got a terrific game from catcher Gyou Matsushima. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Tokyo Denki, 6-4. Matsushima was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was Fujio Tanaka. His record is now 11-9. The right-hander went 9 innings, allowing 4 runs on 10 hits for the Dynamics. With the victory, the Dynamics upped their record to 51-42.
Tokyo Denki took advantage of an error in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game was tied, 4-4, when Osamu Nakamura hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Tokyo Denki in front, 5-4.
"Winning is contagious," said Nakamura. "We're looking forward to the next game."
