Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Bees
Fukuoka Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Vesutan Bees and Osaka Sailors.

Behind a solid performance from third baseman Yoshizumi Smith, the Vesutan Bees defeated the Osaka Sailors, 7-6. Smith was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Bees. Zaijiro Terada came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-3.

Senri Taguchi was the walk-off hero for Vesutan. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bees left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Vesutan manager Wen-bin Terada.

Vesutan has now won 4 straight.
