The Philadelphia Keystones converted a terrific effort from starter James Powers into a win over the Atlanta Copperheads at Peachtree Stadium. The Keystones won the game by a final score of 3-1. The last-place Keystones go to 73-87.

This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the 13th, Joe Landry drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Keystones took the lead, 2-1.

Philadelphia manager Charlie Leist called it "a pretty good win."
