Comets Roll to 10-1 Win Over Suns
Behind a fine performance from Stan Francis, the Houston Comets knocked off the Los Angeles Suns, 10-1. Francis went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Comets. Houston raised its record to 88-70 with the win.

Houston first baseman Johnny Adams helped the Comets go up, 2-1, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Adams hit a run-scoring single off Los Angeles pitcher Heinie Schmidt.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Adams after the game.
