Gothams Earn Late Win | The New York Gothams took Los Angeles pitcher Grant Davis's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Gotham Stadium. The final score had New York getting past the Suns, 3-2. Davis went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 6. Jack White, 10-7, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. New York is 7th in the Federal Association with a record of 71-90.
Curt Day was the walk-off hero for New York. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Gothams second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
