Cannons Stymied by Wolves, Medley
The Toronto Wolves picked up a win at Dominion Stadium, knocking off the Cincinnati Cannons, 6-1. Starting pitcher Bill Medley played a key role in the triumph. With the win, Toronto pushed its record to 83-77.

Medley, who leaned on his changeup, allowed 1 run on just 2 hits over 9 innings for the Wolves. For the most part, Cincinnati hitters were simply overmatched.

"I was able to change speeds effectively tonight," said Medley.
