| Cleveland Scrapes Out 3-2 Win | Cleveland Foresters starter Bill Harris pitched a strong game against the Montreal Saints at Forester Stadium, leading the Foresters to victory, 3-2. The last-place Foresters go to 69-88.
Cleveland took a 3-2 lead on Dale Mosley's 23rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Mosley hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Montreal pitcher Miguel Hernandez visibly frustrated.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Harris told a Cleveland Observer reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
