Suns Claim Late Win
Minneapolis center fielder Bill Powell had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Powell was 2-3 with a triple and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, even as Los Angeles beat the Millers, 6-4. Los Angeles now has a record of 89-68 with the win.

Los Angeles first baseman Harry Dellinger helped the Suns go up, 5-4, in the top of the eighth inning. With the game tied, Dellinger hit a run-scoring single off Minneapolis pitcher Ben Baird.

"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Dellinger told the Los Angeles Chronicle.
