Kings Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
Seattle Municipal Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Seattle Kings and San Francisco Sailors.

Seattle starter Danny Anderson pitched effectively against the San Francisco Sailors at Seattle Municipal Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. The Kings, at 105-52, have a comfortable 26½-game lead in their division.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Jesse Scott was at the plate when Seattle scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Kings to go in front, 4-3.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Scott told the Seattle Citizen.
