| Imperials Score Decisive 12-3 Win Over Wolves | The New York Imperials handed the Toronto Wolves a sound defeat, 12-3, at Dyckman Stadium. George Love, who is tied for 6th in the CA in extra base hits with 51, was a main contributor to the win. He was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for New York. Howie Weston, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 3 runs on 9 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 11-11. Owen Drake had a big run-scoring double for the Imperials in the bottom of the fourth inning. With New York leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Lee Humphrey and swatted a double to left. It was his 21st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Imperials ahead, 3-1.
