Boston turned a good performance from starting pitcher Bob Scott into a 4-0 triumph over the Washington Eagles at Minuteman Stadium. The Minutemen go to 58-96, putting them last in the Federal Association East.

The Minutemen picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.

"Bob was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Boston manager Dode Edwards.
