| Jaramillo Collects Hit Number 2500 | It was a banner day for Carlos Jaramillo, who collected his 2500th hit in the Cleveland 5-1 win over Cincinnati. Jaramillo went 2-for-4 in the game as both Foresters and Cannons fans cheered Jaramillo when he reached base after his hit.
"It feels great to get #2500," Jaramillo said afterward, "especially since we won the game."
Looking at his all-time stats, Jaramillo has a career .273 average with 2501 hits, 352 doubles, 82 triples, 119 home runs and 847 RBIs to date. He has scored 1389 runs, walked 1062 times and stolen 401 bases. | |
