Foresters Get Thrilling 5-4 Win
The Cincinnati Cannons got a superb performance from pitcher John DeWitt, but the Cleveland Foresters still won the game, 5-4. DeWitt threw 6.1 innings allowing 3 runs. Cleveland reliever Manuel Andreu picked up the win, upping his record to 3-10. John Walker absorbed the loss. The second-place Foresters now have a win-loss record of 78-75.

The Foresters got a clutch hit from left fielder Red Miller. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Foresters.

"Exciting game to play in," said Miller. "Getting the win makes it even better."
