| Los Angeles Bats Go Silent in 1-0 Loss | The Dallas Wranglers beat the Los Angeles Stars, 1-0, at Bigsby Stadium. Starting pitcher Sid Moulton was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The Wranglers go to 62-90 with the win.
With two out in the top of the third, Chuck Armstrong put Dallas in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Wranglers went on to win the ballgame.
"Runs were at a premium," said Dallas manager Tom Aiello.
