| Griffith goes 4-for-4 to Ignite Kings Offense | Mike Griffith impressed in the 7-1 Seattle win over Chicago. Griffith, who is tied for 4th in the CA in RBI with 88, was 4-4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Seattle has now won 4 straight.
With Seattle leading 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Griffith hit a slider from Roger Alford for a 2-run triple. It was his 7th triple of the season and put the Kings ahead, 3-0.
"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Griffith told the Seattle Citizen.
