Cannons Stay Hot, Beat Saints, 7-2 | Due in large part to shortstop Babe Booth, the Cincinnati Cannons sunk the Montreal Saints, 7-2. Booth went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The win for the Cannons lifted their record to 77-73.
Johnny Elliot, who finished 4th in the CA in slugging percentage with .515 in 1957, aided the Cincinnati cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 2 with 2 walks.
