| Suns Beat Dynamos, 4-2 | Bob Hinzman, who led the CA in innings pitched with 269.1 last year, was locked in. The left-hander led the Los Angeles Suns to a 4-2 win against the Detroit Dynamos at Thompson Field. Alex Briggs collected save number 8. The Suns raised their record to 85-66.
Los Angeles took the lead in the top of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Henry Hart stroked a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Suns.
