| Philadelphia Dealt 5-3 Defeat | The Boston Minutemen weathered an outstanding game by Philadelphia first baseman Andy Parker to topple the Keystones, 5-3. Parker went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner was Bob Scott, who threw 98 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs on 4 hits. Boston is now 76-73, Philadelphia 68-82.
