Tight Tilt Goes to Cougars, 4-3 | The Chicago Cougars weathered an outstanding game by Cincinnati first baseman Charlie Ham to topple the Cannons, 4-3. Ham hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Dick Champ got the win, improving to 10-12. He worked 8 innings, giving up 3 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 8 and walking 0. The third-place Cougars improved to 87-62.
