| Toronto Rallies for 3-1 Victory | Getting an impressive start from Dave Dumas, Toronto beat Montreal by the score of 3-1. The 5th-place Wolves hiked their record to 67-80.
Dwayne Cleaves came through with a big-time hit for Toronto. The center fielder smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"There's a lot in this game you can't control. Just take what the game gives you. I was just doing my best to help the team win," Cleaves told the Toronto Daily.
