Toronto Wolves starter Phil Colantuono hurled his team past the Montreal Saints, 6-2. The Wolves improved their record to 68-72 by beating Montreal.

Toronto used a clutch at-bat from Roy Demonbreun to capture the win. The second baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Wolves ahead, 6-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We came in and did what we needed to do," said Toronto manager Randy Hohlt.
