Keystones Get Clutch Win Versus Chicago
The Philadelphia Keystones cut down the Chicago Chiefs by the score of 8-7, with the largest share of the credit going to catcher Dick Christian. Christian went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Keystones. Philadelphia reliever Charlie Rushing picked up the win to move to 9-4. Dutch Lane suffered the loss. Philadelphia has won 5 straight games.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Chiefs allowed the Keystones to score the winning run.
