The Boston Minutemen, behind a great outing from Bob Scott, who is tied for 10th in the FA with a 6.3 K/9 rate, defeated the Atlanta Copperheads, 3-1, at Minuteman Stadium. The Minutemen sport a record of 53-91.

The Minutemen got a gift in the bottom of the fourth inning, when they were leading 1-0. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Bob Scott reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 2-0, Boston.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Scott. "Successful pitchers do it."
