| Late Rally by Pioneers Seals 5th Straight Win | St. Louis Pioneers pitcher Charlie Blake was in top form, leading his team past the Minneapolis Millers, 2-1. John Gibson earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 7-5. The Pioneers, at 94-51, have now won 5 straight.
Joe Kleman, the St. Louis second baseman, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 1-0, Pioneers. For the game, Kleman was 1 for 4.
