| Wagner Now 15-10 Following 4-0 Win | The Minneapolis Millers picked up a win at Hennepin County Stadium, knocking off the Houston Comets, 4-0. On the mound for Minneapolis was right-hander Hank Wagner. He played a key role in the triumph. Ben Baird was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 24 of 29 save opportunities. With the win, Minneapolis pushed its record to 74-70.
The Comets had trouble solving Wagner, who surrendered no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"Hank was aggressive right out of the chute," said Minneapolis manager Bill Bryan.
