| Toronto Falters Again, Loses, 4-3, to Los Angeles | The Los Angeles Stars dealt the Toronto Wolves a 4-3 loss at Bigsby Stadium. Tom Clement, who is tied for 6th in the CA in stolen bases with 22, was the star on offense. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Harry Stout was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 11 save opportunities. The Wolves, now 65-69, have lost 6 straight.
Charlie Barrell came through for Los Angeles when he hit a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. With the bases loaded, he hit a two-strike fastball to left field, staking his team to a 4-3 lead.
