Henry Watson impressed in the 7-5 Chicago win over New York. Watson, who is tied for 6th in the CA in home runs with 25, went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Arch Wilson sewed up the save, his 10th. The 'W' lifts Chicago's record to 74-62.

With Chicago leading 1-0 in the top of the third, Watson hit a fastball from Marv Rafalko for a 3-run home run. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Cougars ahead, 4-0.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Watson. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
