Keystones Lose, 5-2, as Gothams Rally
New York turned a good effort from starter Joe Nelson into a win over the Philadelphia Keystones at Gotham Stadium. The Gothams won the game, 5-2. After today's action, New York sits at 82-62; Philadelphia slips to 67-79.

New York took a 3-2 lead on Fred Davis's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Davis hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Philadelphia pitcher Jim Steuber visibly frustrated.

In his postgame comments, Gothams manager Charlie Foley heaped praise on Nelson. "For a young player, he's done a lot of good things for us."
