Foresters Rally to Eke Out Win
Montreal got a terrific game from third baseman Ralph Hanson. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Cleveland, 10-9. Hanson went 4 for 7 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The triumph puts Cleveland at 76-58 for the season.

The Foresters got a clutch hit from second baseman Denny Wyant. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Foresters.

"What a game," said Wyant. "We needed every last run."
