The Seattle Kings got a good effort from starter Swede Hawkins in defeating the Los Angeles Stars at Seattle Municipal Stadium. The final score was 2-0. Billy Collins sewed up the save, his 26th. Seattle, at 84-59, sits in second place in the Continental Association West.
