The Milwaukee Arrows, despite a fine performance by Toronto pitcher Gary Preston, grabbed a 1-0 win at Lakefront Park. Preston allowed no runs over 7 innings. Jim Hart, now 11-14, was credited with the win in 2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 0. The win puts Milwaukee at 78-65 this season.

The two teams entertained the Lakefront Park crowd with some good baseball.
