| Imperials Nipped by Cannons, 3-2 | The Cincinnati Cannons got a stellar effort from pitcher Charlie Warren, helping Cincinnati score a win over the visiting New York Imperials, 3-2. With the win, the Cannons hiked their record to 68-63.
Milt Senecal, who is tied for 10th in the CA in runs scored with 96, contributed to the Cincinnati win with a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
"Charlie was throwing strikes, locating well," said Cincinnati manager Buddy Baumgart.
