Kings Use Late Rally to Win
The Chicago Cougars got a superb performance from first baseman Gene Case, but the Kansas City Kings still won the game, 6-4. Case went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Del Lamb got the save, his 12th in 23 chances. The win gives Kansas City a season record of 79-54.

Kansas City relied on the hitting of Hank Williams to pick up the win. The first baseman ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Kings on top, 6-4. For the game, Williams had 2 triples and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
