Cougars Paste 5-2 Loss on Wolves
The Chicago Cougars picked up a win at Dominion Stadium, knocking off the Toronto Wolves, 5-2. Starting pitcher Dick Champ played a key role in the triumph. Bob Allen closed the door for Chicago, picking up his 3rd save of the year. The win elevated the Cougars to 70-60.

It could have been a different outcome for Chicago, had it not been for Gene Case, the fan favorite . Case contributed a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put Chicago up, 3-0.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Case.
