Schneider Helps Foresters Beat Arrows, 11-4
The Cleveland Foresters knocked off the Milwaukee Arrows, 11-4, at Lakefront Park. Vern Schneider was a big reason Cleveland won. The right fielder was 4 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Cleveland is now 62-80.

In the top of the first, Herb Reed ambushed a 1-0 changeup from Red Burtch and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Cleveland a quick 2-0 lead.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Cleveland skipper Ray Parsons. "It's important to have different ways to do it."
