The Baltimore Clippers topped the Philadelphia Keystones, 7-1, in Federal Association action at Liberty Coliseum. The game was highlighted by the performance of Baltimore pitcher Jose Martinez. The Clippers now have a record of 65-77.

The Clippers got a big at-bat from first baseman Karl Teague. For the game, Teague was 1-4 with a double. In the top of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 1st double of the season gave Baltimore a 1-0 lead.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Teague.
