Eddy stifled the Montreal Saints, enabling Toronto to grab the 6-1 win. Eddy got the win, improving to 12-8. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed 1 run. Toronto now owns a record of 63-78.
The Wolves got an important contribution from right fielder Willie Pennington, who in the bottom of the fourth knocked a 2-2 changeup to right-center for a run-scoring triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Wolves ahead, 2-0.
