Norris Stadium was the site for Continental Association action featuring the Los Angeles Stars and Dallas Wranglers.

Dallas shortstop Earle Farmer contributed significantly to his team's 8-6 win over the Los Angeles Stars. Farmer went 2 for 4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Wranglers. The Wranglers, at 53-73, sit in 9th place in the Continental Association.

Farmer contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Dallas in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 3-2, Farmer took a sinker from Earl Wright and stroked the home run to left. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Wranglers to leap in front, 5-3.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Dallas manager Tom Aiello.
