| Wranglers Slap 5-1 Loss on Los Angeles | Dallas took on Los Angeles in front of a lively crowd.
The Dallas Wranglers went home winners at Norris Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Pete Rosenbaum. Rosenbaum stifled the Los Angeles Stars, enabling Dallas to grab the 5-1 win. Today's win puts Dallas at 79-61, while Los Angeles falls to 83-56.
Buck Stout, who is tied for 3rd in the CA with a .906 OPS, took Los Angeles hurler Bill Dunham deep in the bottom of the first. His 3-run home run put the Wranglers on top, 3-1. In all, Stout had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"We'll put this win in the can," said Rosenbaum, "and go after the next one." | |
